Maraqa & Co. Attorneys & Legal Counselors was founded by Ziad Maraqa on a vision of a modern law firm that can leverage client business in the region based on 15 years of personal intensive experience and knowledge in the fields of local and international commercial law.

Mr. Maraqa was working for one of the best Amman-based international law firms as the regional manager for the litigation and legal cases section. Mr. Maraqa was also entrusted with management of the branches of the company for more than 15 years.He has been a certified lawyer in Jordan since 1998. He holds a Master of Laws (L.L.M.) degree in International Commercial Law from Sussex University in the United Kingdom and a bachelor degree in law from the Beirut Arab University in Lebanon. Mr. Maraqa's primary languages are Arabic and English.Mr. Maraqa has more than fifteen years of experience as a practicing lawyer. He has acquired extensive knowledge in various fields of intellectual property law, international commercial law, company law, insurance law, cyber law, tax law and real estate law.
